The best poly feedback I've ever been given

 

​I had occasion tonight to repeat the best poly feedback I've ever been given.

​

It came to me compliments of Merkanas. I looked at him and said "I'm worried that I'll come between you and attnwhor."

​

He shook his head and said "You can't come between me and attnwhor. Listen to the sentence you just uttered. Me...and attnwhor. You're not in the sentence."

​

It hit me like a ton of bricks. Duh! Attnwhor is her own woman and she's choosing Merkanas AND myself for her reasons (and we are choosing her for our reasons) and I can no more get between attnwhor and Merkanas than Merkanas can get between attnwhor and I (well, except for this one night we had a 3 some ;-)

It made so much sense I wondered how until then I'd missed it.
